Yaghoub Karimi, 21, is one of those young and talented players who currently plays for Naft Tehran in Iran Pro League. “Esteghlal FC was interested in moving me from Naft. But the officials of Naft didn’t let me join that club and my teammate Iman Mousavi transferred to Esteghlal FC base on the same offer. Iman is one of my best friends and he has a bright future in football. I hope he achieve to what he deserves in Esteghlal.” Yaghoub Karimi said.
However Karimi is not sad about the decision of Naft’s officials. “They negotiated with the authorities of Naft when I was out of Iran. Currently I have contract with Naft and they prefer to keep me in this club. Actually I’m happy with the situations here.”
“Last year I received an offer from a German club but I was not ready to play in Europe in that time.” Yaghoub Karimi added.
