Mohsen Mehralizadeh has been re-elected as president of International Zurkhaneh Sports Federation (IZSF) on Sunday for a four more years.
In the elections held at the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), Mehralizadeh secured 47 of 51 votes casted.
International Zurkhaneh Sports Federation (IZSF) was founded on November 10, 2004 in Tehran and has 57 members around the world.
“We’ve improvement in terms of training athletes but we have to work hard to introduce more Morshed (coach). Some countries have no clubs championships and we request them to hold competitions,” Mehralizadh said.
Seyed Amir Hosseini, Secretary General of IZFS, retained his seat with 50 votes. Jassim Mohammed Jafar has been re-elected as IZSF first vice president with 48 votes. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast also attended the elections.
