Apparently the officials of Isfahan-based football club, Sepahan, are satisfied with the performance of their Croatian head coach, Zlatko Kranjčar. Rasoul Khorvash, the technical manager of Sepahan, says the high-ranking officials of the club will start their negotiations with Kranjčar in next few days.

“Sepahan is interested in services of Kranjčar, and the club is ready to extend Kranjčar’s current contract. We believe Sepahan will have a bright future with this Croatian coach because he has his own style and can lead the team in critical conditions.” Rasoul Khorvash informed Pars Herald.

Zlatko Kranjčar couldn’t claim the title of Iran Pro League with Sepahan, and they finished season in second position. Also the team was eliminated from group round of AFC Champions League. During the recent years, Sepahan used to qualify for next rounds of ACL, but Zlatko Kranjčar failed to take his team to the next levels of the continental tournament.

Kranjčar has established positive ties with the popular players of Sepahan, and this has granted him enough popularity between fans. Amir Ghalenoei, the former head coach of Sepahan, had many problems with captain Moharram Navidkia, and this element didn’t allow him to become the ideal coach for Isfahanis.

Sepahan has won 58.11% of its games in different competitions under the tutelage of Zlatko Kranjčar. Kranjčar managed Persepolis FC for the first time in Iran. In 2011, he moved to Isfahan and started his career in Sepahan.
