Although a large number of experts and analysts are criticizing his government for subsidy reform plan, but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes all the economical problems of his country will be solved by implementing the second phase of this plan. Iranian lawmakers have recently warned Ahmadinejad of initiating the second phase.

“This is one of the best opportunities for Iranian nations. Currently we are facing with different economical issues but if we implement the next phases of subsidy reform plan we will be able to solve these issues and invest the oil’s revenues on other fields.” Mahmoud Ahmadinejad remarked during a meeting with members of parliament in East Azerbaijan province. However the oil production and revenue of Iran has been decreased significantly because of Western sanctions over its fragile economy.

“I will visit MPs in parliament during this week. Not that my visit is legit according to Islamic Republic’s constitution and I will discuss national problems with members.” Ahmadinejad added. Some political figures censured President’s decision on visiting Majlis which was deemed illegal.

The Iranian government is also going to expand the infrastructures of East Azerbaijan province and invest more to make new buildings and houses in quake hit regions including Ahar and Varzaqan. The government is also intending to support Traktor Sazi Tabriz football club which is suffering from financial problems since the Central Bank of Iran has suspended the activities of its main supporter.
