Andranik Teymourian, the former player of Esteghlal FC, has received offers from Turkish and Chinese football clubs for next season, according to local media reports. Recently, Ali Fathollahzadeh, the President of Esteghlal, announced that Blues will work out to transfer Teymourian to Iran Pro League.

“We are always interested in Ando’s services. He is one of the best Iranian players in world. His international experiences can help Esteghlal to achieve more successes in AFC Champions League.” Ali Fathollahzadeh said in a live show broadcasted from state television. Esteghlal FC has secured its promotion to next round of AFC Champions League, and Blues are preparing themselves to cope with Al-Shabab at Tehran’s Azadi Sports Complex.

“Amir Ghalenoei, the head coach, has asked me to carry on negotiations with Andranik Teymourian. His services can also help the younger players of squad. Teymourian has a great fan-base between Iranians, and this helps him so much to play in his country at the highest level.” Ali Fathollahzadeh added.

Before joining Esteghlal in mid-July 2011, Ando used to play for Tabriz-based football club, Tractor Sazi. From 2006 to 2010, Teymourian played in FA Premier League for Bolton Wanderers and Fulham respectively. Andranik currently plays as a defensive midfielder for Al Kharaitiyat SC in Qatar Stars League. In this season, he has appeared in 15 matches for his side.

Rumors suggest that he will definitely leave Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club at the end of this season. Apparently Bernard Simondi, the French head coach of the Qatari club, wants to add more powerful players to his team for the next season. So Ando’s contract won’t be extended.
